Creative Veins Performing Arts, Jacksonville's # 1 Voted Performing Arts Studio, is excited to announce its first Intro to Animation Class coming in January 2020, presented and led by Annette DeLorean of Netty Toons!

This 4-week session provides a formal and fun, no experience necessary Introduction to Animation!

TUESDAYS, 7PM - 9PM x 4 weeks

STARTS: Tuesday, January 14th at 7pm

ENDS: Tuesday, February 4th at 9pm

INTRODUCTION TO ANIMATION

Animation is a unique art form combining storytelling, drawing and painting--it's a bit like moviemaking, where you get to create all the characters and sets yourself. It's an exciting field, with animators working in movies and television shows, in ads, in gaming and more!

Through hands-on exercises, students in our Intro to Animation 4-week session will learn how to:

o Write a script and storyboard an original animation

o Record and sync voice-over recordings

o Create original characters

o Choose and add sound effects & music

o Create title cards and credits

o Create a thirty (30) second group project animation using Adobe Suite's Character Animator, Illustrator, Premier and After-Effects

There are no prior training requirements to attend this class and no experience is necessary!
